The 72 acres of Childress Vineyards, located in Clemmons and Lexington near his racing operations, make up the largest winery in the Yadkin Valley and produce more than 30 wines from classic house blends to reserves, sparkling and muscadine wines. Since opening in 2004, the winery has received more than 750 medals and is acknowledged as the premier wine maker in the state.
